On February 13, via a circular, the Punjab government announced that IAS officer of 1997 batch Rahul Bhandari has been relieved of his duties as Principal Resident Commissioner at Punjab Bhawan in New Delhi. Order for his posting will be sent out later.
Ms. Shruti Singh, an IAS officer from the 2006 batch, has taken on the additional role of Resident Commissioner at Punjab Bhawan.
